The Company

Tenuta del Portale, located in the hearth of the production area of the Aglianico del Vulture, it was born in the 1990 thanks to the passion of the D’Angelo family whose ambition, since the beginning of ‘900, has always been to produce wine that faithfully expresses the characteristics of Aglianico del Vulture and its territory.  And now Erminia D’Angelo is at the helm.

Our constant commitment to endorsing and spreading knowledge of Aglianico del Vulture in the world is reflected in each bottle that we produce. The same bottles that, as true custodians of our territory, we like to call “ home”.

The winery has around 15 Ha of winery-owned vineyard with a production of around 150.000 bottles yearly.
