Vulture Area

An extinct volcano to guard enchanted landscapes and authentic products

An authentic place, like its population, Vulture is an area located in the Northern Basilicata , on the border between Puglia and Campania, dominated by Monte Vulture.

With its seven hills and its two volcanic lakes, Monte Vulture is one of the most evocative places in the Region.

A volcano of 1326 meters , extinguished thousands of years ago, which dominates, with grandeur and elegance, a territory rich in unique landscapes: luxuriant forests, ancient brigand shelters, enchanted castles and cathedrals suspended on the ‘water.

And then, a tradition of food and wine products that never ceases to amaze.

A unique Terroir for an excellent product

From the volcanic soul of these enchanted landscapes, fertile soils rich in minerals are born, which, thanks to their sponginess, are able to nourish the vineyards throughout the year. It is in this land that Aglianico, one of the most precious and ancient vines in Italy, reaches high qualitative goals with the Aglianico del Vulture , a wine with a great aging capacity and a pleasant charge tannic.
